EMV Issuance & Management System

For any bank issuing EMV based Credit or Debit cards, ANDiS4EMV provides an ideal solution for managing entire card life cycle – right from issuance till its eventual withdrawal. ANDiS4EMV delivers multi-Application management and script delivery support in the same package. e-Smart not only provides delivery and installation of ANDiS, but also complete project management, training technical support and maintenance.

Corporate ID Cards

These cards are typically used for physical as well as logical access management. In partnership with AET Europe, e-Smart brings together a complete logical security solution in a box complete with a PKI card, Card reader, SafeSign Middleware & BlueX Identity Management system. While physical access may be using Contactless technology, logical access requires Contact technology, e-Smart's Dual interface/ Combi Cards provide both functionalities in single card. A typical project has following elements –

• Smart cards – Contact, Contactless or Dual interface
• Smart card readers – Supporting above types of card
• Biometric readers – For those desiring a multifactor authentication, we provide a bio capable middleware incorporating a PIN, Digital Certificate & Biometric templates.
• Card Management System – To centrally manage digital identities with Active Directory & LDAP support and management of the life cycle of those cards/identities.
• Middleware – Supporting PKCS#11 and Microsoft CSP, to provide integration between cards, terminals and applications

E- Governance

All e-governance projects have 2 key characteristics – the number of users is large, often running into millions and there is need to identify and authenticate each user. Additionally, fresh data enrolment can also be an important issue in some projects.

Many a government projects fail or in best case get delayed due to mismanagement of data-a result of not realizing the importance of Card Management System. Sophisticated data de-duplication techniques need to be used based on the type of data used for enrolment.

Micro Banking/ Financial Inclusion

This initiative of bringing ‘unbanked’ vast majority of population in India as well as many other developing nations into ‘traditional banking’ network has gained popularity in recent months as smart cards and associated technologies have conclusively proven that the whole solution can be implemented in a cost effective manner. Typical solution consists of-

• Contactless cards, duly personalized
• Handheld, wireless terminals for transactions
• Front-end Banking application and authentication application on card/terminal
• Back-end Banking application for integration with Bank’s IT  network

Service Delivery Card

In associations with SanDisk, e-Smart provides Service Delivery Card (SDC) based solutions to Mobile Network Operators (MNOs). SDC consists of MicroSD card based on SanDisk’s unique ‘Trusted Flash’ technology. Thus in addition to normal Flash memory the card contains additional controllers to provide security and encryption of data. Pre-loading content on SDC provides MNO with an ability to control and manage the content that can be delivered to Mobile user. Content such as Music/songs, Movies/Video clips, Ring tones, Wallpapers, Games etc can be loaded securely on to the SDCs and distributed widely through variety of retail channels. Access to such content can be controlled by MNO through an incoming SMS in the simplest implementation or through customized , user friendly “screen” in the more sophisticated implementation.
